Rather than staying at home as plain housewives, these MassKara Queen candidates want to become career women someday.
Belinda Claire Thiel, 19, said she won't just stay at home because if she works, she can help in the expenses of their family. She also said she wants to earn her own money.
Thiel, a Filipino-German raised in Australia , is a first year Commerce student at the University of St. La Salle Bacolod and a music lover. She said she joined the MassKara Queen competition to experience the most celebrated pageant held in Bacolod City .
