The National Electrification Administration yesterday directed the parties to legal arguments among present and former officials of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative to submit position papers to support their cases.
Xerxes Adzuarra of NEA said that the parties have been instructed to give their written arguments and evidence after efforts at reconciliation broke down yesterday.
One of the cases discussed was the one filed by the CENECO Union of Rational Employees and the electric cooperative’s former president, Vicente Sabornay, against incumbent president, Edward Gasambelo, general manager Sulpicio Lagarde Jr. said.

Blackouts today
Due to the preventive maintenance of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines’ 100MVA transformer, the Central Negros Electric Cooperative will effect load shedding schedules today between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in its service areas, a CENECO press release said.
There will be rotating brownouts that will last for, more or less, one hour.
Consumers are advised to minimize the use of electrical appliances during these periods to lessen load shedding schedules.
