Tapped to host another out-of-town PBA game, city officials of Victorias are once again inviting basketball-loving Negrenses to witness San Miguel Beer battle it out against Sta. Lucia on Nov. 7 at its impressive and modern Sports and Amusement Center .

The game in Victorias is expected to be one of the most exciting in the 35 th Season of the PBA which officially opens tomorrow at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Beermen, newly crowned Fiesta Cup champion, are expected to give Sta. Lucia Realty a hard time on this match-up despite the latter's vaunted 2007 All Filipino title.

The high-caliber basketball game between two of the best teams in the PBA is aimed at promoting Victorias City Sports and Amusement Center as a venue for various recreational and sports activities.

By hosting PBA games, city officials hope to promote sports tourism in Victorias as an alternative industry for socio-economic development.

The Nov. 7 game between the Beermen and the Realtors is the fourth PBA game hosted by Victorias City . Records show that the past three games held in the city registered the highest attendance among the PBA's provincial games, making Victorias the home of PBA in Negros Occidental.*
