Family bonding

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was a memorable afternoon when grandparent day was celebrated at Bright Kids preschool recently.

Grandparents were overjoyed to see their “apos” perform in the intermission wearing adorable costumes. The girls were like little Sabrinas in their 60's look, complete with stockings and fly-away hairdo while the boys looked like models in their vests. The mandarin class gave a rendition of the famous F4 group singing Chinese songs while the girls performed a butterfly song. Everyone enjoyed the family bonding moment.

Among the highlights of the family month celebration were the picture for a day activity where enthusiastic parents volunteered to facilitate activities for the children during the paren week.

Leoner Ynzon, a bowling enthusiast, taught the children the basics of bowling at Lopue's East Bowling Center . Grace Aguilar, a food contour taught them basic cake decoration while Ian Ananoria shared his origami talent with little pots. Boyet Maghari and Shirley Maghari shared their love for music while Dr. Eric and Jennifer Po taught and played face painting.

The children also became little tour guides during their home visit activity to selected homes of students.*
