A lovely lady marks 18

Lovely and appealing Marie Cheska Salameda Piodos, daughter of Dr. Romeo Piodos and Elizabeth Piodos, excitedly looked forward to her 18 th birthday celebration.

The L'Fisher La Proa Ballroom was dazzling with colorful lights and dancing balloons, and beautiful and attractive flowers on every table, especially at the podium.

For three months, Dad and Mom helped the debutante prepare for her special natal day.

Cheska, the eldest of three children, is taking up Culinary Arts at the University of St. La Salle , Bacolod City . Aside from her passion for cooking, she enjoys playing the piano, listening to good music, and collecting knick-knacks.

Dr. Piodos really wanted his daughter to take up medicine, but he could not say no to his eldest daughter who dreams of becoming a successful chef.

That wonderful evening, Marie Cheska and her mom both wore silver gowns.

Gift-giving and the ceremonial eighteen candles followed.

The venue was almost filled with guests, classmates, relatives and family friends for a sumptuous dinner that was fully appreciated by everybody.

The Piodos family acknowledged the presence of Mayor Bing Leonardia and his lovely wife, Elsa, who, despite their heavy schedules, took time out to greet the debutante and danced with her.

Sparkling red and white wines plus champagne flowed on all tables.

Grupo Marie Teves entertained the young ones with dance music of today.
