The Negros Oriental PNP Provincial command is now maximizing the Kontra Droga, Kontra Boga and Bilang Boga campaign provincewide, Senior Supt. Augusto Marquez Jr., provincial police director, said.

He admitted that one of the problems in some areas of Negros Oriental is the presence of loose firearms, some of which are being used for crimes.

The campaign also aims to issue license to unregistered firearms in the province. In support of the campaign, amnesty for firearms registration will start on October 1 through the FEASAGS office.
