Heavy rains and strong winds damaged four houses in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City Wednesday.

Bacolod Social Services and Development head Sally Abelarde yesterday said Community Development Worker Katherine de Leon who was sent to the scene of the incident reported that the houses of four families damaged were owned by Angeles Andrade of Purok Maghirupay, and Antonio Pajarillo, Rodolfo Pajarillo and Bronilda Obal all of Purok Mabinuligon.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia has ordered the Department of Social Services and Development to see to the welfare of the victims.

Abelarde said they have assessed the extent of damage caused by the heavy rains and have made recommendations for financial assistance to be provided to the victims through the City Mayor's Office.*CGS
