The provincial chair of the Liberal Party in Negros Occidental is Judy Araneta Roxas, LP member Victor Puey said yesterday.

This was confirmed by LP secretary general Tony Abaya, Puey said, adding that only Mrs. Roxas can speak on policy directions concerning the LP in Negros Occidental.

Roxas could not be reached for comment yesterday.

Puey was reacting to a press release issued by Kid Bañas stating that the reorganized LP in Negros Occidental is headed by Rene Silos as provincial chair.*
