Police Regional Office-6 Director, Chief Supt. Cepriano Querol, yesterday denied that he is protecting illegal operation of jai-alai in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental, contrary to the allegations circulating through text messages recently

“I don’t know what kind of protection they are referring to… I am a very friendly person and I always entertain people so they need to be specific”, Querol, who was in Bacolod City, said.

He stressed that under his leadership, policemen in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental and other parts of Western Visayas have not been lenient toward the operation of illegal gambling.moremoremore
