Action starts today as games in the Bacolod City SK Mayor’s Cup Basketball Cup 2011 get underway in Barangays Granada and Handumanan.

Sangguniang Kabataaan Federation president Kyle Ramos said 12 games will be played separately in the two venues. He invited basketball-loving Bacoleños to watch the games and show their support for their barangay.

The tournament was launched Sunday with a caravan from the Lagoon Park to the City Government Center.

Joining the tournament are Barangays 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 39, 41, Alangilan, Alijis, Banago, Bata, Cabug, Estefania, Granada, Handumanan, Mandalagan, Pta. Taytay, Singcang, Taculing, Tangub, Villamonte and Vista Alegre.*NAB
