Easter Mass
at Carmelite

The Our Lady of Smile Community of Bacolod City and The Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites celebrated Eastern Sunday recently with Fr. Bernard Ybiernas and Fr. Alan Reiger officiating at the mass at the Carmelite Prayer Center. Fr. Alan gave a very meaningful homily.

Alan has known Fr. Bernard for almost 50 years and are the best of friends. The Mass was followed by picture-taking of families. Bingo Lacson took care of the picture-taking, and Lourdes Batac gave me a very nice seat from where I could hear the homily clearly.

Then it was off to L’Fisher Hotel the grand Easter celebration especially for kids. A belated Happy Ester to all!

Last Tuesday ABS-CBN held the screening for its famous Pilipinas Got Talent search for talented Bacoleños and Negrenses, at the La Consolacion College Quadrangle, South and North.

The venue was so full and I could not get inside and just hoped and prayed that our talented Bacoleño contestants will be lucky enough to join the talent pool of the network.
