Mama Milady turns 82

BUDDAI

Milady Gonora Araneta, wife of the late Juan Yulo Araneta – former Board Member of the fourth district  and former Vice Mayor of Bago City, celebrated her 82nd birthday last Sunday, at the La Proa Ballroom of L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.

The hall was beautifully adorned with long  red roses on every table. In attendance were all her 10 children,  grandchildren, close relatives, friends and special guests. The celebration was highlighted with the giving of 82 red roses and the lighting of the 82 candles led by her in-laws headed by Patria Fuentes, Rebecca de Leon, Carmenia Villanueva, followed by other relatives. Close relatives then gave special messages to the celebrator.

Her apo’s presented a special dance number with Edgar Gallo and Patria Fuentes, followed by the blowing of the candles on the  birthday cake. Dominant color of the night was red. The celebrator and her children, and even almost all visitors, came in red, too. Memories of yesteryears were recalled and everybody joined and reminisced on  what Mama Milady had been through.

The party was made possible through the love and generosity of daughter Elisea Araneta Ong who now resides in the land of milk and honey, and was in town only for a week just to celebrate with her darling mother.

Picture-taking followed with the celebrator, while the children  enjoyed the line dance and group dance. Everyone went home with a satisfied heart and spirit.

Remember: God always stands between the Christian and the enemy, and only God has the right to define what is wrong*
