The Department of Agrarian Reform officially installed 34 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries in Hda. Dos Hermanos, Brgy. Purisima, Manapla, Negros Occidental, Wednesday, a DAR press release said.
The land was acquired by the government through the Voluntary Offer to Sell scheme of CARP, the press release said.
DAR officials led by MARO Jose Renato Defiño of Manapla, and PARO I Dr. Gideon Yongque Jr., police officers and soldiers joined the ARB installation.

Japan employment
Members of the Hiroshima Marine World Cooperative Union based in Japan led by Kawamoto Yasuaki called on Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr. at the Governor’s Office, Wednesday, after hiring 34 welders and painters from Negros Occidental, a Capitol press release said.
The union members who are also company heads in Japan are Matsugami Michihara, Kawanishi Takayuki, Kamigaki Kiso, Itadani Takeji, Hashimoto Narimitsu, Shuto Koshi, Hotta Kazunori, Imamura Zenji, Ikeda Teryaki, Kikou Hiyama, and Hori Tatsuo.
The newly-hired skilled workers applied through the POEA registered Confederal Manpower Project based in Bacolod City, the press release said.*
