The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries, Small Enterprises Research and Development Foundation and the Development Bank of the Philippines – Industrial Guarantee and Loan Fund will hold a Capability Enhancement Seminar in Bacolod City, February 22 to 24, a press release from the Department of Trade and Industry said.
The initiative will focus on sustaining Small and Medium Enterprises’ competitiveness because maintaining a small business requires an increased level of competitive ability, the press release said.
This seminar is for owners of micro, small and medium enterprises who will learn how to enhance their competencies to sustain their business operations and improve their access to financing institutions.
A participation fee of P1,000 inclusive of meals and training materials for the three-day event will be collected from the participants, the press release said.
Interested parties are encouraged to pay as soon as possible as this seminar is on a “first come, first served” basis, it added.
