Army recruiting soldiers

Capt. Mark Andrew Posadas, regional Army spokesman, said the army’s 3rd Infantry Division is recruiting an initial 300 candidate soldiers for year 2011 and those who have already passed the Philippine Army Aptitude Test Battery may now apply.

For those who have not yet taken the PAATB, Posadas said the Army’s Mobile Testing Team is scheduled to administer the test at the West Negros University in Bacolod City on Jan. 14, Negros Oriental State University in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental, on June 15, and Silliman University, in Dumaguete City on Jan. 16.

The processing of the first batch of 250 applicants will be on Feb. 1 and in June for the next 150 batch at Camp Macario Peralta in Jamindan, Capiz.

The last day of registration for the first batch of applicants is January 12, at Camp Peralta, Jamindan, Capiz.

Interested applicants must bring a whole body picture (colored), bio-data with 2x2 picture, NSO birth certificate with receipt, NSO marriage contract of parents with receipt, affidavit of singleness issued by NSO (SENOMAR) with receipt, transcript of records,diploma and Form 137 for high school graduates,  PAATB result, drug and heap test results, barangay, police mayor, regional and municipal trial courts and NBI clearances, and should be at least 18 years old, but not exceeding 23 years old.
