Special Chinese New Year
fund-raising event set Feb. 51

A Special Chinese New Year’s event titled, “Passion At Its Best”, goes on stage 7 p.m. February  5 at the La Proa Ballroom of the L’ Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.

The fund-raising dinner concert will bring to the forefront 33 years of firefighting and medical services of the AMITY Volunteer Fire Brigade coming in harmony with The Company, a press release from organizers said.

The event aims to promote and raise funds for Amity’s expanding services and operations covering the entire province of Negros.

Through the years, the AMITY Volunteer Fire Brigade, with its medical team, pursued its mission with passion. For a non-government civic organization, Amity has gone beyond their initial mandate as a civic club and has touched so many lives through its medical, rescue and firefighting services, the press release said.

Through the years, Amity has existed and operated through donations of civic-minded individuals mostly from Filipino-Chinese communities. It now calls on Negrenses to support their expanding and growing mission in the dinner concert.

For those who want to buy tickets, these are available at the AMITY office, 2nd Floor of the AMITY Building, Negros Showroom, Café Bobs (Lacson), Café Uma, Trattoria and L’ Fisher Hotel or call 433-4432, 0918-9420039 and 0927-6982676, the press release added.*
