Retailers told:
Renew permits

The Negros Occidental National Food Authority is calling all business owners in grain retailing to prepare and process their business permit renewal, Rodrigo Macaya, senior enforcement and inspection officer said recently.

January is scheduled for the permit renewal of grain retailers in the cities of Bacolod, Talisay, Silay, Victorias, and Manapla, Macaya said. Business owners have to bring their 2010 income tax return which is a requirement for business permit renewal, he added.

February, meanwhile, is scheduled for the cities of Bago and La Carlota, and the towns of Pulupandan, Valladolid, San Enrique, Pontevedra, and Hinigaran, he also said.

The towns and cities of Central Negros scheduled for March are Murcia, Isabela, Don Salvador Benedicto, La Castellana, and Moises Padilla. April is scheduled for the cities of Cadiz, Sagay, Escalante, and San Carlos and the municipality of Toboso, Macaya added.

May is set for Kabankalan and Himamaylan cities and Binalbagan and Ilog towns, and June is set for Sipalay City and the towns of Hinoba-an, Cauayan, and Candoni, he also said.

Macaya said that business owners who fail to renew their business licenses on their scheduled months, will be fined 25 percent of the license fee for every succeeding month.*LTG
