Seminar held for seniors

SM City Bacolod has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry in conducting the Seminar on How to Start a Business among the officers and members of the Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of Bacolod recently, a press release from SM said.

The event, which was aimed to guide the senior citizens on how to invest and manage their finances for 2011, was led by Provincial Director Rebecca Rascon of the DTI-Negros Occidental.

SM has improved its mall facilities to be elderly-friendly by creating priority lanes for the senior citizens, priority seating signages for the elderly and other priority notices have been strategically installed in SM malls to remind the public to always give the elderly the respect and care they deserve, the press release added.*
