| DLNHS softbelles start The Domingo Lacson National High School Juniors softball team has a good chance of winning in the World Series next month, Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. said yesterday. The problem, he said, is the lack of funds to support the girls who will represent the country in the August 14-20 Little League World Series Juniors Division in Kirkland, Washington. Marañon appealed yesterday to big businesses, private firms, congressmen, and local government units in the province to contribute funds for the DLNHS softbelles for their World Series stint. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
