DepEd tops bowling tourne

The Department of Education and TNT Construction/NPBC took the first and second spots in the ongoing Solid Star Group Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfields Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The DepEd pintopplers, who now top the overall standing, have a two-round collection of 1,970 pinfalls, closely tailed by TNT with 1,955.

Johan Genolos, Marianito Superiano and Lyndon Reyes played for the No.1 squad, while Nonoy Ruiz, Mandoy Hervias and Maeng Solis bannered the NPBC color.

Bago City Bowlers Association/ASSFBI is third with 1,946.

Sister team Bago City Bowlers is fourth with 1,895, followed by Lacsonians with 1,893.

NPBC RJ Stars has 1,890; Kami Mga Hubin, 1,885; Kami Mga Hubin Too, 1,871; Eco-saver, 1,822, and NOHS All Stars, 1,782.

TNT holds the highest team triple with 1,010, dislodging the old mark set by Dep-Ed in the curtain raiser of 1,004.

The third day of competition is scheduled tomorrow at 6 p.m.*HLG
