Silay gets power boost
BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

Officials of Central Negros Electric Cooperative energized a 5 mega voltage amperes substation in Brgy. Bagtik, Silay City, yesterday that will benefit a portion of the Bacolod-Silay Airport and Brgy. Guimbala-on.

CENECO general manager Sulpicio Lagarde Jr. yesterday said the growth of Silay is so fast so it needs additional capacity to supply its growth requirement.

“The operation of the second substation will also lessen the load coming from Talisay since its load requirement is also increasing,” he said.moremoremore
