TESDA sets P50M for
Bacolod BPO training
BY LISA GAPAC

The Technical Education Skills and Development Authority has allotted about  P50 million for training of call center agents in  Bacolod City, P25 million of which has already been invested in ongoing projects.

This is because Bacolod City has been chosen as one of the Next Wave Cities in the Philippines, TESDA Secretary Joel Villanueva said last night.

Villanueva, who was in Bacolod City, said he is very interested in the BPO industry in Western Visayas, especially because Iloilo and Bacolod are two major cities included in the new wave cities of the BPO sector.moremoremore
