TMD, which falls under District 75 of Toastmasters International, pools together individuals from different sectors, who share a common interest in learning how the marriage of words and gestures can make for an effective tool for understanding and linkages.

Elected as its first set of officers were Einstein Laviña – president, Cecile Genove – vice president for education, Elve Nasvik – vice president for membership, Mark Garcia – vice president for public relations, Myleen Sedillo – secretary, Rhoody Brust – treasurer, and Dondon Tingas – sergeant-at-arms.

Present during the election was DTM Melinda Sisles, Division D governor, whose jurisdiction covers clubs in Bacolod and Iloilo. TMD is the 13th club under Division D.

TMD meets twice a month at the second floor of Casablanca along Rizal Boulevard. Those interested are encouraged to observe and join the meeting on November 12 at 6 p.m.*JFP
