PESO in NegOr
bares job vacancies

The Negros Oriental Provincial Employment Service Office recently announced job vacancies available for Negrenses, a press release from the Philippine Information Agency said.

Nanette Tindoc, of the provincial PESO, said KABRASO Multi-Purpose Cooperative, an outsource service provider, is seeking applicants for sales staff and store supervisor.

KABRASO is a cooperative registered with the Cooperative Development Authority under Republic Act 9520 and the Department of Labor and Employment that provides local employment, through collaboration with its clients, a number of whom are based in Dumaguete City.

Interested applicants may visit the Provincial PESO at the ground floor of the Aqua Center Building in Capitol Area, Dumaguete City, the press release said.

The provincial employment office was opened by Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo this year, to facilitate the employment needs of Negrenses under his centerpiece program dubbed “HELP” or health, education, and livelihood programs.

Meanwhile, the Dumaguete City government in coordination with the Provincial PESO will hold a local and overseas job fair tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Robinson’s Place, in Dumaguete.

A passporting services activity will also be held on Nov. 26 to 27, at Robinson’s Place, during which passports of applicants who took part in the October 22 passporting activity held at Convention Center will be released, the press release added.*
