Rep. Pryde Henry Teves (Neg. Or., 3rd District) yesterday said he was disappointed over rumors implicating his brother, Board Member Arnulfo Teves, and his family as  allegedly  responsible for hiring  guns for hire to liquidate the incumbent governor.

The two suspects in the alleged assassination plot on Gov. Roel Degamo were identified as Anthony Eleuterio and Herman Escoro. They were arrested by security escorts of Degamo in Barangay Bonawon, Siaton in Negros Oriental.

Rep. Teves said the statements of the police escorts and the two suspects did not reconcile. The police escorts in their affidavit made unrealistic and manufactured facts and statements, he added.
