NPA issues subpoena for 2
BY GILBERT BAYORAN

The revolutionary people’s court of the New People’s Army Southwest Guerilla Front has issued subpoenas against two suspects in cases filed against them for allegedly selling prohibited drugs in southern Negros.

Ka Andrea Guerrero, spokesperson of the Armando Sumayang Command, in a statement he issued, warned the two persons, whose names are being withheld, that selling dangerous drugs is a capital offense and is punishable by death, under revolutionary justice.

One of those issued with a subpoena by the revolutionary court, his mother and a sibling, allegedly have business connections with a known drug syndicate in Bacolod City, Guerrero claimed.

She added that among the drug peddler’s customers in Brgy. Caliling, Cauayan, are policemen and soldiers.

Guerrero said another drug peddler issued a subpoena, is accused of selling marijuana to students in Brgy. Inayawan, also in Cauayan.*GPB
