Kami Mga Hubin top man Wilson Casas and Melot Alimon of Lady of Candles were the top qualifiers in the men’s division, and Sylvia del Rosario led in the women’s bracket in the battle of the top 10 bowlers of the Suppliers Friendship Cup set on Dec.7 at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Casas topped the rated A and B categories with an average of 115.70 points.

Alimon topped the elimination phase in the non-rated bracket by outscoring his counterpart with 117.96 pinfalls per game.

In the women’s group, Del Rosario leads with 107.56 points.

The other contenders for the master’s plum in the rated category are Ronald Fernandez (Silverado/ASSFBI) with 115.45; Boy Tisoy Villanueva (Mulo Car Aircon), 114.31; Matt Gaudite (Sharp), 113.76; Felipe Boy Romero (Davies), 113.26; Allan Baer (Silverado Amor), 113.15; Edgar De Leon (Sharp Aquos), 112.65; Norman Pineda (Silverado), 112.57; Erwin Mazarte (ESD Electronz), 112.41, and Nonoy Gatila (Silverado), 111.10.

Also vying in their non-rated contest are Rey Bala-an (Sharp), Orly Guiljon (Mulo Car Aircon), Cecil Ramon Silverio (Silverado), Nonoy Hulguin (Sharp), Leonard Nemenzo ( TNT Construction), Rey Boy (NOCE Neddz Asphalt Maker), Maeng Solis (TNT), Iran Pielago (Davies), and Roger Flores (Amor Silverado).

The other women top players who will challenge Del Rosario for the master’s crown  are Cecile Biendo (Tiger Eye), Tess Robles (Davies Fusion), Suzette Morales (Tiger Eye), Carmen Romales (Tiger Eye), Cheryl Ramos (Tiger Eye), Lars del Castillo (Panasonic), Maila Balayo (Davies Fusion), Juliet Regollo (Condura), and Jumilyn De La Cruz (Tiger Eye).

The master’s game will start at 6 p.m.

The championship in the team competition will also be held on the same date.

Sharp and Silverado earned a twice-to-beat advantage in Group A and B, while FRM Marketing had the same privilege in Group C.

With Sharp in Group A are Alimon Steel/Lady of Candles and Mulo Car Aircon, as TNT and Kami Mga Hubin will vie for the title in Group B in an up-the-ladder system.

St. Joseph Alumni Association and Davies rounded out the competitors in category C.*HLG
