| A new branch for N & M
The blessing and opening of the fifth branch of the N & M Pharmacy owned by Adolfo (Nene) and his lovely wife, Mellie, was held recently. N & M stands for Nene and Mellie and it has become their lucky initials.
Fr. Felix Pasquin of San Sebastian Parish blessed every nook and corner of the new pharmacy, as well as the front parking space. Cutting of the ceremonial ribbon was headed by the First Lady of Negros Occidental, Dr. Marilyn Marañon, and the First Lady of Bacolod City, Elsa Leonardia.
Lunch was served buffet style and we had to go for second helpings. I was seated next to Boy Suarez and enjoyed listening to his favorite topic which is “Plant.” He owns a big orchard in Victorias City and another in Don Salvador.
Then Mayor Bing joined us and before we ended, Boy Suarez had promised Mayor Bing to help beautify the Government Center.
Everybody got ready and put on fresh lipstick for souvenir pictures. I looked around and saw that about 75 percent of those present were family, and business associates.
To Nene and Mellie, God Bless in your new venture, another N & M Pharmacy!
Remember: As you admire the wonderful things God has made today, remember you’re one of them – wonderful inside and out. You’re blessed, You’re special. You’re loved.* |
