Malou's milestone

Today is the feast day of the San Sebastian de Bacolod, patron saint of Bacolod City, and patron saint of the Diocese of Bacolod.

A patronal mass in honor of San Sebastian is set at 9 in the morning, with Bacolod Bishop Vicente Navarra as the main celebrant. In the afternoon, at five o'clock, the procession in honor of San Sebastian will be held.

The following day, we will again witness and enjoy the Chinese New Year.

Fantastic fireworks, dance parade and the popular dragon dance will be featured. If you want to view or see them, just visit the Government Center, after 5 p.m., bring your family so that you will enjoy watching the dragon and others. Going around the city, you will really feel the air of celebrating “Kung Hei Fat Choi.”

Last Saturday was a special day for Malou Ciocon Granada, only daughter of Delia Ciocon and the late Reggie Granada, who believes that every birthday is a milestone in one's life.

With her cousins and high school friends, they celebrated with dinner at the L'Fisher Chalet on the roof deck where they feasted on the delicious food prepared by the chef.

Then it was time to reminisce on their college life in different schools. All of them are now professionals and some are already working in prestigious companies.

We wish love, joy and, the best of health to all.

Remember: God never makes a promise that He will not keep. Whatever does not begin with God will end in failure*
