cops recognized
Eleven retired police officers in Bacolod City were presented certificates of recognition recently by the Bacolod City Police Office for their services, and in line with the “LOI: Salamat Kapatid” program of the Philippine National Police.
The recipients are Insp. Homer Vargas, Senior Police Officer 4s Gilbert Linda and Susie Baloyo, SPO3 Mario Gomugda, SPO2 Erwin Arela, SPO1s Salustiano Matti, Eduardo Federizo, and Willie Yap, Police Officer 3 Roy Badilla, PO1 Jose Rabacca, and Supt. Edgar Esparagoza, a press release from the BCPO said.
The certificates were given by BCPO director, Senior Supt. Ricardo de la Paz, assisted by Supt. Joseph Bayan, deputy director for Administration, and Supt. Alexander Ermeo, deputy director for Operations, the press release added.*

Theater performance
tomorrow at museum The theater presentation, “Suddenly Last Summer” of The Performance Laboratory Inc. will be staged at the Negros Museum, at 7 p.m. tomorrow, a press release from promoters said.
The screening will coincide with the visit of United States Embassy Public Affairs Officer Alan Holst to the museum. The show had been staged earlier at the Gallaga Theater of the University of Saint La Salle Bacolod, the press release also said.
It is directed by Tanya Lopez, with Adrian Torres as production designer, Paolo Fortaleza for lighting, and Mate Espina, Kimee Santiago, Rafael Tubongbanua, Charlene Mae Tupas, Lysabeth Dilag, Giselle Kho, Ritchell Balisnomo and Eid Villarta in the cast.
