Cops use Facebook to trace
man wanted for murder
A man tagged as the second most wanted person in Catanduanes Province for shooting dead his younger brother last year, was arrested in Bacolod City at about 4 p.m. yesterday through the help of Facebook.
Domingo Tablo, 52, of Brgy. Sta. Elena, Virac town, Catanduanes was arrested while refueling at a gasoline station Senior Insp. Richie Gohee, Station 5 chief, said.
Tablo was apprehended on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Virac Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Lelu Contreras, who denied him bail, Gohee said.
Information received by the police showed that Tablo shot his brother, Maximo, over a land conflict and immediately fled to Negros Occidental, where the family of his wife lives.
The wife of the younger Tablo sought the help of Cadiz City Jail warden, Insp. Alexander Sy, who, in turn, coordinated with Gohee for the arrest of the suspect.
Gohee said they searched for the name of the suspect’s daughter in Facebook, and through the pictures posted there, learned that he is living in Brgy. 35, Bacolod.
He said Senior Insp. Jose Micheal Aurelio of the Catanduanes Provincial Police Office had issued a certification that the elder Tablo is indeed their second most-wanted personality.
The suspect will be fetched up by the Catanduanes police and brought back to their province.*APN back

A video captured by a closed-circuit television camera showed Penoso sitting beside the road at around 1 a.m. when three teenagers mauled and hit him with bamboo poles.
