JV grateful for
retaining fifth spot

United Nationalist Alliance senatorial bet JV Ejercito-Estrada said he is thankful to the public for retaining him among the top five preferred senatorial candidates in the latest Strat Poll pre-election survey, a press release from his camp said.

The April “Preferences for Senators” survey conducted nationwide showed that Ejercito-Estrada ranked 4-5, and preferred by 64.5 percent of respondents, or 5.5 percentage points higher than the share he obtained in the March survey, the press release also said.

The survey showed the San Juan City solon is one of the candidates with a "very strong" chance of winning in the May 13 elections, the press release added.*
