LOPTTA players keep
title in Legazpi

Members of the Lopue's Table Tennis Association prevailed in their divisions to successfully defend their title in the Magayon Festival National Table Tennis Tournament held April 14 to 16 in Legazpi City.

LOPTTA president Leonito Lopue remained the No. 1 player in the 60- year-old-and-above division as he once again turned back Emerito Barrera in a rematch of last year's final, 4-1.

Lopue advanced to the final round this year by defeating Sid Villarico, 3-0, in the semifinals, while Barrera took the other final seat by prevailing over Ed Manaog, who eventually settled for third place.

KMH takes No. 1 spot in
Sharp Open Trio tilt

Kami Mga Hubin led with 709 points in the premiere division of the 22 nd Sharp Open Trio and Non-rated Bowling Tournament at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Davies and Tiger Eye led in the non-rated and women's department.

KMH now has 3,553 points, 95 pins over No. 2 team NPBC RJ Stars/LJP with 3,458.
