| Her cake had 90 candles
An early thanksgiving mass officiated by Fr. Ruel Jundos at the Riverside Chapel started the 90th birthday celebration of Carmen Ditching Siason on April 26 in Bacolod City.
A hearty breakfast followed at Bob’s Restaurant, with lunch at the Siason residence later, and attended by the Ditchings, Consings, and Jardelezas, all from Iloilo City.
A birthday dinner celebration was also held at the Muscovado Hall of the Sugarland Hotel, where family members and loved ones, friends and well-wishers, oohed and aahed at the three-layer birthday cake bearing 90 candles.
Tita Carmen was surrounded by her grandchildren as she welcomed friends and greeters from the Garden and Travelers clubs, St. Vincent’s, and other groups, and thanked them all for celebrating her natal day with her.
Happy Birthday Tita Carmen! God Bless you, and good health always.*
