CREBA summit Friday

The National Land Use Act will be discussed by former Congressman and Governor Rodolfo Valencia of Oriental Mindoro at the Visayas Housing Summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Bacolod Pavillon Resort Hotel and Restaurant, in Bacolod City, a press release from the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Association Inc., said.

The Summit is sponsored by CREBA of the Visayas, and its Aklan, Capiz, Cebu, Ilo-ilo and Negros Occidental chapters.

The Visayas Housing Summit will feature the modules on land titles, housing finance and receivable financing, rules and regulations regarding housing developments and permits and licenses needed for development and marketing, the press release said.

Resource speakers also will discuss topics and answers questions and concerns will be representatives from the local, regional and national government agencies including Land Registration Authority, Register of Deeds, PAG-IBIG, National Home Mortgage Finance Corp., Housing and Land use Regulatory Board and the Local Government, it added.

A registration fee of P1500 for each participant will cover meals, seminar materials, souvenir kit, and door prizes, the press release said.
