More local flights cancelled

Zest Air, Philippine Airlines Express, and Cebu Pacific Air cancelled some of their domestic flights due to bad weather and technical problems.

As of 2 p.m. yesterday, the Department of Transportation and Communications said Zest Air flight Z2-350 Manila-Tagbilaran and its return flight Z2-351; and PAL Express flights 2P-773 Manila-Tagbilaran and its turnaround flight 2P-774 were all aborted due to bad weather in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Zest Air flight Z2-422 Manila to Puerto Princesa City and its return flight Z2-423 were both cancelled because of technical problem.

CEB, meanwhile, cancelled its flight from Manila to Tagbilaran City in Bohol and back due to bad weather.

The Department of Transportation and Communications said that as of 9 a.m. yesterday, the cancelled flights were the 5J-617 Manila to Tagbilaran City, and its turnaround flight 5J-618.

A number of flights were also cancelled Saturday due to the inclement weather in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.*PNA
