There are 14,300 vacancies available for Negrenses at the mega job fair of the Department of Labor and Employment on the occasion of its 80th Founding Anniversary Friday.

Of the vacancies, 4,562 are for overseas jobs and the rest for local employment, Ma Victoria Mondragon, DOLE Provincial Director said.

Themed “Walumpung Taong Pag-Unlad, Walumpung Taong Paglilingkod”, the job fair will involve 22 local companies and 10 overseas firms, Mondragon said.

She said customer service and technical service representatives and skilled workers top the list of available jobs.

DOLE will also offer other services in collaboration with the TESDA Supervised Schools of Iloilo Inc., as well as help desk for the RCC services and kasambahay.

It will also set up another help desk for the profiling of workers displaced by the onslaught of super typhoon Yolanda for appropriate intervention.*APN
