JSY, AACI Transport dispute
title in Fil-Sino Inter-Company cagefest

The top two seeds, No. 1 AACI Transport and No. 2 JSY Transport arranged a titular showdown in Class A of the Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade Inc. Inter-Company Basektball Tournament at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The two teams are disputing the crown as of press time.

AACI Transport advanced to the championship by beating AACI Trading, 94-61 in the semifinals, while JSY Transport overwhelmed the Huminova Tigers in the other semis clash.

AACI Transport dominated for four quarter to blow away AACI Trading with Robbie Jalando-on setting the tone for dominance in the first quarter.

Nico Loping sunk four triples and and Toffel Tan added six points to extend the lead to 55-30 at the break .

The Transport guys had their lowest output in the third quarter but Trading could do no better as they only managed 16 points to fall further, 73-46.

Lopingco paced AACI Transport with 19 points, Derek Sibug added 13, Daniel Ong scored 12 points, Bren Tajonera hit 11, and Toffel Tan finished with 10 points.

Mark Coo led Trading with 19 points in a losing effort while Chibon Uy shot 12 points.

Meanwhile, Huminova Tigers, playing with five players only, gave up the game after halftime as one Raul Javelosa sprained his knee midway in the second quarter and could not continue in the second half.*NAB
