dominate BFP fun run

Rommel Hulleza topped the 10-kilometer event while Reymark Dimeren ruled the 3-kilometer category as runners from Himamaylan City registered another impressive performance in the Bureau of Fire Protection Fun Run held Sunday in Bacolod City.

The fun run held in partnership with the ABS-CBN Bacolod, was part of the BFP celebration on its 40th year in service.

Hulleza’s latest conquest in the 10-kilomenter event adds to his personal collection of gold medals in long distance races, while Demerin recently bagged the silver medal in the secondary boys’ 1,500-meter run of the 2013 Negros Occidental Provincial Meet held at the Panaad Park and Stadium.

Reymund Lopez of Retro emerged as the favorite in the battle of the top 10 players of the 4th NSL Christmas Cup Non-rated Trio Bowling Tournament tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Lopez topped the elimination round with an average of 117 points per game.

Also eyeing the title are Cecil Ramon Silverio of ASSFBI Silverado with 114.77; Ric Abellar of Bac-Bago, 112.75; Joval Damasco of RJ Stars/NPBC, 11.65; Jam Morales (LJP Trading/NPBC), 111.50; Iran Pielago (Retro), 111.33; Cesar Sumaylo (ASSFBI), 111; Ulysses Pacheco (Bac-Bago), 109.68; Orly Guiljon (ASSFBI), 109.31, and Cero Cordova (Retro), 108.44.
