The arrest of a suspected shabu peddler in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, yesterday yielded about P30,000 worth of shabu and a firearm with ammunition, police records show.
A police team headed by Senior Inspector Albert Sy, assisted by troopers of the 5th Maneuver Platoon, and armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Rolando Balgos, swooped down on the house of Remar Tudillo in Sitio Cuartel, Brgy. Enclaro, Binalbagan.
Sy said the raid and apprehension of Tudillo, 36, also led to the confiscation of the shabu, an Armscor .38 caliber revolver with six ammunition, a cellular phone, two P1,000 bills and shabu paraphernalia.
The raid was witnessed by kagawads Rosauro Estrabon and Alan Tabayan, while the confiscated shabu was endorsed to the PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations.
