KMH out to protect lead in
Non-Rated Trio bowlfest

Kami Mga Hubin hopes to remain on top of the team standings despite the threat from the Joe & Joe Romano as games in the Bacolod City National High School Batch ’85 Pirates Non-rated Trio Bowling Spectacle resumes tonight at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

After three games, Kami Mga Hubin led with 2,837 pinfalls with Joe & Joe Romano in close second with 2,828.

Terminator IV was third with 2,794 followed by Davies and Mom & Me with identical 2,767 points.

The visiting Bago City bowlers had 2,763, while Flores Team posted 2,761.

LJP Trading/NPBC Tamaraw has 2,759; RJ Stars NPBC, 2,712; Sanyo/Haier, 2,668; Eco-EDN, 2,643; BCNHS Team Pirates ’85, 2,587; ERDY Builders, 2,567; NOHS C’85, 2,578; Suppliers, 2,490; Angry Bird, 2,477, and BCNHS C’75, 2,419.

Bago City established the team highest single and triple with 354 and 1,007.

In the individual contest, Ric Abellar of the Bago City Team registered the team records established the men’s highest single and triple with 162 and 405 points.

Suppliers bet David Villanueva recorded the highest pinning mark with 93.

Meanwhile, the championship of the Top’s Open Trio Bowling Tournament is scheduled on Friday, March 1 at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Kami Mga Hubin has twice-to-beat after topping the elimination phase.

Hoping to challenge KMH for the title are NPBC/RJ Star Tamaraw and Silverado ASSFBI.

It was FRM Marketing that earned the twice-to-beat in the non-rated bracket with Candles and Canvil Knights to face each other in a do-or-die confrontation for the finals against the top qualifier.

In the women’s category, Panasonic.will go up against Davies Fusion, while RJ Stars/NPBC will tackle twice-to-beat St. Joseph Adventurer’s.*HLG
