Sign peace covenant,
Neg. Occ. bets urged

Philippine National Police and Commission on Elections officials yesterday called on Negros Occidental candidates for congressional and provincial government seats to join the signing of a covenant for peaceful elections at the San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City at noon tomorrow.

We are urging all the candidates to attend, Provincial Election Supervisor Wil Arceño, said

The candidates‘ signing the covenant will assure the people of their commitment to peaceful polls, Senior Supt. Celestino Guara, OIC of the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office, added.*CPG
