Nat’l Age-Group chess tilt
unfolds in Cadiz tomorrow
It’s all systems go for the 2013 National Age-Group Chess Championships – Visayas leg that will open tomorrow in Cadiz City.
Participants will compete in six age-groups: the boys and girls’ 20 years old and below, 14-under, 12-under, 10-under and 8-under.
The four-day tournament will feature outstanding chess talents in the region who will vie for the qualifying slots in the national finals set in Manila.

In an article posted in the PBA website, Chas was cited as one of the key factors in Rain or Shine’s back-to-back appearance in the finals. His outstanding performance last week in the game against San Mig Coffee earned him the Accel-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week honors. |
