40th ordination
anniversary

Fr. Felix Pasquin, rector of the San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City, celebrated his 40th sacerdotal ordination anniversary at the Cathedral, Dec. 23, with a 10 a.m. mass attended by provincial, city and town officials of Negros Occidental.

Reception followed at the convention hall of the Bacolod Pavillon Resort Hotel and Restaurant. Well-wishers included public officials, priests and sisters, parishioners and the relatives of Pasquin from Pototan and Anilao in Iloilo.

The only child of the late Vicente Pasquin and Matilde Parrenas of Pototan, Iloilo, Fr. Felix was ordained by the late Bishop Antonio Y. Fortich.

He finished his Philosophy, first honor, at the Sacred Heart Seminary, and his Theology at the San Carlos Seminary and Mary Hill School of Theology in Manila.

Pasquin is also the chairman of the Diocesan Commission of Social Communications, a member of Presbyteral Council, and the vice president of the Priests’ Care office.

He was once the president of the Senate of Priests, from 1983 to 1985, and used to be the editor-in-chief of the Diocesan paper, Crosslinks, and the Negros Church Bulletin, forerunner of today’s ADSUM.

To Fr. Pasquin, congratulations and God bless you, always.*

Remember: There are times when we never search but we discover something. We never wish but our desire is granted. We never ask but we get an answer. We never desire but we are showered with blessings. Thank the Lord for seeing our needs and desires.*
