From 2003 to 2012 Mambukal Resort in Murcia town, Negros Occidental, has made a profit of P72.6 million, of which P13.1 million was earned last year, resort manager Ellen Marie Jalandoni Vasquez said yesterday.
Vasquez said that from January to December 2012 the resort earned P44.3 million and had total expenses of P30.9 million for a total cash profit of mP13.1 million.
This means the resort earnings in 2012 increased by P8.23 million, or about 23 percent over 2011, she said.

invited to join coop
The Capitol Government Employees Multipurpose Cooperative is encouraging non-capitol employees to join them to avail of their two percent monthly interest and three-time yearly dividends, its credit and collection head, Leans Villafranca, said yesterday.
Villafranca said CAPGEM is extending its credit opportunities to non-capitol employees through the associate membership status.
Associate members can avail of loans based on their capital build-up given upon registration, he said.


DOH to deploy 2,500 nurses
The Department of Health said 22,500 registered nurses will be deployed nationwide for the Health Enhancement and Local Service Project after orientation that starts this month, a government press release said.
This will be the fourth batch of nurses to be deployed in various areas of the country.
Three batches have completed the RN heals project from Feb. 14, 2011 to December last year.
