BY CARLA GOMEZ

Vice Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson yesterday said that while the members of the Love Negros Team in the Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan will not be obstructionists, there will be more discussions on items sought for approval, and passage may not be as easy as before.

Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. of the United Negros Alliance, in response, said “That is their job to scrutinize, we do not ask for anything more. This is a democracy.”

Lacson and eight of the just-elected members of the SP belong to the Love Negros team, outnumbering the four others from UNA.moremoremore
