A 6-year-old boy from Brgy. 34, Bacolod, is the latest dengue hemorrhagic fever fatality, raising the number of deaths in the city to five this year, Assistant City Health Officer Dr. Jovy Vergara said yesterday.
Provincial Health Office reported ten other deaths in Negros Occidental.
John David Anema of Purok Million Flower developed fever on June 20 and was brought three days later to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was diagnosed with dengue, his mother Risa said.   |
