Seven taekwondo jins from the Bacolod Taekwondo Academy topped their divisions to win the gold medal in the Regional Taekwondo Championships held at the University of St. La Salle covered court in Bacolod City, Sunday.

The seven gold medalists, mentored by Bong Mercurio and Earl Enerlan were Jaden Tenzing Mijares, Angel Migallos, Carl Lucky Masbano, Francisco Entierro, Michael Luigi Sanicas, Geovie Grace Badayos, and Roni Jean Raymundo.

Mijares, a student of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod, won in the group 0 boys' novice, while Migallos, also from CSA-B, was undefeated in girls' group 3 novice.

Masbano, from St. John's Institute, grabbed the gold in boys' group 3, Entierro, from Asuncion Lizares Elementary School, ruled the boys' finweight advance cadet division.

Sanicas, from USLS, bagged the gold in boys' junior flyweight, and Raymundo of Riverside College, reigned in senior girls' finweight.*NAB
