A Bacolod City broadcaster yesterday said his 35-year-old daughter has been missing since Sunday and that she had been suspected of giving information that led authorities to the confiscation of more than P11.9 million worth of pirated video compact and digital discs last week.
Rey Alejandrino of Brgy. 35 said the husband of his daughter, Josephine Sosa, reported to the police Tuesday that she had been invited by an alleged big time Muslim distributor of DVD tapes, a certain “Sabe”, who suspected her of reporting them to the authorities, and that she failed to come home since then.
The items were confiscated by the Optical Media Group and the Police Regional Intelligence Unit 6 in the cities of Bacolod, Victorias and Silay on July 10 to 12. |
