Another members-only privilege is happening at SM retail establishments and select partners nationwide today, a press release from  the mall chain said.

SM Advantage Card holders, and SM Prestige and BDO Rewards members can avail of automatic 10 percent discount on regular-priced items at outlets like The SM Store, Our Home, Ace Hardware, Watsons Personal Care Store, Surplus and Toy Kingdom, the press release said.

At SM Appliance, 5 percent discount applies on selected items, it added.

At SM City Bacolod, City Bacolod members can avail of the exclusive discounts when they shop during mall hours.

As an added treat, The SM Store is extending store hours up to 10 p.m., giving shopper-members an extra hour to maximize their buys, the press release said.

Other discounts and freebies for selected goods may be offered on top of the SMAC discount which are never made available to non-members, it added.

 Aside from the discount, SM’s loyalty cards still rack up points whenever they are swiped, the press release also said.*
